Mobiles Hardware-Praktikum - Summer term 06

Place: Building 51, Room 03-026
pratice The 2006 Mobile Hardware-Praktikum contains a total of 11 labs (a total of 22 exercises) which are divided into three main topics. These are:

Microprocessor Programming: 4 Labs / 8 Exercises

Designing Combinatorial and Sequential Circuits: 4 Labs / 8 Exercises

Fundamentals of Analog and Digital Circuits: 3 Labs / 6 Exercises

To successfully participate and complete this course the following list of deadlines must be met:

1. Register for the Hardware-Praktikum through the web portal by 28.04.2006.

2. Register for the Hardware-Praktikum at the Prüfungsamt or at one of the SB-Terminals in building 101. For more information contact the Prüfungsamt.

3. Download and sign the Leihvertrag (available on this web page). Then come by room 00-026 in building 51 with the contract to pick up your hardware. This step can be done at the following dates:

- 27.04.2006, 01:00 pm - 02:00 pm
- 28.04.2006, 01:00 pm - 03:00 pm

4. All labs must be performed and submitted through the portal by 11:00 PM on the dates indicated below:

Microprocessor Programming:
Lab 1: 10.05.2006
Lab 2: 17.05.2006
Lab 3: 24.05.2006
Lab 4: 31.05.2006

Designing Combinatorial and Sequential Circuits:
Lab 1: 16.06.2006
Lab 2: 22.06.2006
Lab 3: 30.06.2006
Lab 4: 07.07.2006

Fundamentals of Analog and Digital Circuits:
Lab 1: 12.07.2006
Lab 2: 21.07.2006
Lab 3: 28.07.2006
Lab 4: 09.08.2006 (not a mandatory exercise, just to get a "bonus")

5. To get credit for this course a minimum of 11 from 22 exercises must be successfully completed.

6. Lastly, the hardware must be returned to the university before credit for this course is given.

The conversion between the number of correctly done exercises and the grade given are shown below:

Mark => Grade
21, 22 => 1.0
19, 20 => 1.3
18 => 1.7
17 => 2.0
16 => 2.3
15 => 2.7
14 => 3.0
13 => 3.3
12 => 3.7
11 => 4.0
<11 => 5.0

Note: Students who do not complete all 6 steps descibed above can still recieve credit for this course but this will be done on a case by case basis.
