Mumbai's dhobi ghat, the place where the clothes are washed. First, the clothes are collected and brought to the dhobi ghat (there is no need to go there to have your things washed). Then, they are sorted according to type and color. A secret code system makes sure that everybody gets the own clothes back afterwards. Then, they are put into soapy water for a couple of hours and finally beaten off to get the dirt out, before they are delivered to the customers on the same day.
