Hello, In this lab you do not need to implement the push button control. You only need to simulate this design. However if you wish to test the fpga you do have 3 buttons. opsel0 => pushbutton 0 and "not" pushbutton 1 Matt : : Hello, : : the pushbuttons funtion as a simple input with the following function: : : Pushed = logic '1' : : To store this value you can use an RS latch or a clocked D flip flop, or what ever you want too. However you must make sure it can latch and hold the opcode. : : Matt : Yeah man! But: Must there be 3 different buttons that equal the three functions, or only one button, that does some kind of rotational operation selection e. g. by incrementing the stored opcode?
